Climate:
The climate is typically
continental with cold Winters and warm Summers. There
are plentiful snowfalls in the mountains. The rains are
scarse in the summer months. On the coast the climate
is mild.
Comunications:
The railways, roads
and motorways provide good communications with the Abruzzo
and the Apulian Adriatic coast. A secondary railway line
leaves from Termoli, enters Campobasso and continues to
Benevento. The inner communication routes are insufficient,
hindered by the mountains.
